UPHILL WIN FOR EDEL

The club’s Edel Mooney finished 3rd overall and 1st female in the Glas Tulaichean Uphill Race on Sunday.
Edel covered the 7.4k course in 42 minutes 48 seconds.

HADDINGTON 10K ROAD RACE

Marie Storrie was the only club runner to contest the Haddington 10k Road Race on Saturday.
Marie completed the course in 44 minutes 49 seconds which placed her 68th overall and 8th female.

Club veteran Ian Leggett raced to a gold medal at the Scottish Masters Championships at Meadowbank Stadium on Saturday. The club’s sole representative in a field of 254 finishers for the Dunblane Hydro 7.5 miles Road Race was Donald Shaw.
Running in the MV40 category Donald finished well up in 16th place in 49 minutes 28 seconds.
