PARKRUN TRIUMPH FOR ROSS

Ross Milne took the plaudits at this week’s [Jan 16th] Edinburgh 5k parkrun at a windy Edinburgh waterfront.

His time of 16 minutes 16 seconds may have been 24 seconds slower than that of his only other parkrun appearance but it was good enough to lead home a big field of 120 runners.

Scott Balfour followed his club mate over the line in 14th place to claim the MV60-64 title in a time of [19.25] with David Mabon MV 55-59 not far behind in 23rd [20.41].

The club’s only female representative was Carol Mabon FV 55-59,she got round in [28.10] for 95th place.
The female race was won by Jill Knowles, 8th overall, Scottish Prison Service AAC in a time of [18.30], Jill hold’s the women’s course record at [18.20].
