ROUND THE HOUSES[SCOTT 1ST CLUB MAN HOME – CATEGORY WIN FOR IAN]

A handful of club athletes were among a field of over 500 for the 44th Round the Houses 10k from Grangemouth Stadium on Sunday 28th March.

Scott Nelson was the first club runner to complete the course in 37 minutes 19 seconds this placed him 64th overall and 8th M40.This was also a new PB for the distance for Scott.

Ian Leggett was next home in 205th place but more significantly 1st M70 timed at 44 minutes 34 seconds.

Only nine places seperated Neil Graham amd Kenny Mearns, Neil was 255th [46:07] with Kenny 264th [46:18].

The only female representative was Lesley McGiffen who got round the 10k in [56:31] which placed her 481st and 36th F40.
