SARAH’S PB?

It has been reported in many places that Sarah’s fine run at the Kelvin Hall was a PB, it was however only an indoor best for the 3000 metres.

Her actual PB is somewhat faster than the 9:48.49 she set on Saturday, 22.47 seconds faster in fact.

Sarah set figures of 9:26.02 when winning the Women’s under-20 race at the Aviva London GP at the Crystal Palace last year.

Sarah’s late selection and subsequent courageous run at this high profile event has given the club a a bit of a buzz and has created a talking point not only among members but also others further afield.
