TED IN ACTION IN SOUTH OF ENGLAND

The club’s Ted Finch was in action in the South of England at the weekend.

On Saturday, in glorious sunshine he contested the Brighton 5k Parkrun, the course which comprises two and a half loops of Hove Park is slightly more undulating than the one he is more accustomed to at Cramond Edinburgh.

There was a total of 247 runners with Ted finishing in 108th in 24 minutes 52 seconds.

The following day Ted once again donned the running gear for the a longer 15k Trail Race which is part of the Chichester Challenge Series.

The course which starts and finishes in Lavant Green sees the ruuners head through Goodwood Estate before heading on to the South Downs for a 170 metre climb before returning.

Ted completed his run in 84 minutes 12 seconds.
