PARKRUN WIN FOR BRIAN – PB FOR SHONA

Lothian Running Club’s Brian Turner raced to victory in Saturday’s[23rd April] Edinburgh Parkrun.
Brian covered the 5k along the Granton-Silverknowes waterfront in 16 minutes 07 seconds.
In the closest of finishes Brian scraped home with one senond to spare ahead of Martin Gore Lasswade AC.
The next club runner home in 83rd place was Paul Young in [21.37].
Ian Leggett came next in 102nd [22.33] followed by Shona Young who set a new PB in finishing in 121st in [23.27].
Making up the club contingent on the day was Clifford Dicker in 175th place in 25.52].
