GOLD FOR IAN-WIN FOR DARREN

Club veteran Ian Leggett raced to a gold medal at the Scottish Masters Championships at Meadowbank Stadium on Saturday.
Running in the MV70 category 5000 metres the 72 year old clocked a seasons best 22 minutes 51.37 seconds.

In the Lothian and Borders Open meeting also at Meadowbank the clubs Darren Thomson raced to victory in the 400 metres in a time of 51.99 seconds.
