PARKRUN SUCCESS FOR BRIAN

Lothian Running Club’s Brian Turner was the victor in this weeks Falkirk Parkrun.
Due to a fallen tree in the Callendar Park the course had to be slightly altered and was a bit longer than the usual 5k.
Brain’s winning time was 18 minutes 10 seconds. Next club runners home were son and mother Iain & Jill Horsburgh in 27th and 28th places, Iain [24.03] was first in the J14 category with Jill [24.26] 2nd in the overall female classification.
Making up the handful of club runners on the day were, Martin & Shona Greig, with Martin 30th in [25.27] and Shona 35th & 6th female timed at 26.03]. 57 Completed.

Ian Hall was the club’s only runner in this weeks Edinburgh Parkrun finishing 81st0f the 145 runners in 26 minutes 26 seconds.
