PARKRUNS

Lothian Running Club members were in action at both the Edinburgh and Strathclyde Parkuns at the weekend.
In a big field of 228 runners in the Capital event, the first club runner home was Paul Young in 36th place covering the 5k along the waterfront in 21 minutes 36 seconds.
Following Paul home was Jim Alexander in 56th place, Jim who was making his race debut crossed the finish line in [22.19], Shona Young finished 94th and 11th female in [23.51] with 102nd and 1st in the 70-74 category Ian Leggett [24.19].

Both Ted and Val Finch made their debuts at the Strathclyde Parkrun where Ted came home in 46th place in [25m 25s] with Val 109th and 32F in [35.40]. 114 Ran.

Unfortunately this weeks Falkirk Parkrun had to be cancelled due to storm damage within Callendar Park.
