DEBUT WIN AT STRATHCLYDE FOR SARAH

Lothian Running Club’s Sarah Inglis made her Strathclyde Parkrun debut a winning one on Saturday morning.

Sarah, who holds the women’s Parkrun course records at both Falkirk and Edinburgh covered the 5k course within Strathclyde Park in 17 minutes 45 seconds which also placed her an excellent 5th place overall of the 177 runners. Sarah’s time sees her sit in 4th place on the all time fast time list at the Lanarkshire event.

This was the third week in a row the women’s event at Strathclyde has been won by Lothian RC athletes following Jo Hall’s wins of the previous two weeks.

Sarah was the only club runner in action at this weeks event.
