JAVELIN & DISCUS PB’s FOR EMMA
Lothian RC’s Emma Mackie recorded two throwing PB’s while competing in the JSB Forth Valley League President’s Select match at Grangemouth Stadium on Saturday.
Emma finished in 5th place in both the Under-15 Girls Javelin and Discus competitions. Her javelin throw of 15.94m was 1.87m firther than her previous best. She then threw the discus out to 11.88m for an improvement of 0.8 m.
Another of the club juniors Hannah Steel was also competing at the meeting where she finished in 6th place in the Under-11 Girls 800 metres in 3m 12.9s.
