ULTRA CATEGORY TITLE FOR ALAN

LRC’s Alan Robertson has completed an excellent season competing in the Scottish Ultra Marathon Series by being crowned the champion in the Male over 60 category.

Alan took part in his final event of the series on Saturday, the River Ayr Way Challenge which covers a 44 mile course which starts in Ayr and finishes in Greenock.

Alan finished in equal 16th place in7 hours 13 minutes. The series takes in nine ultra races across Scotland with a runners best three finishes counting towards their overall finishing position.
