Category win for Jill in 50th Parkrun

There was an excellent turn-out of 11 Lothian Running Club members among an equally impressive total field of 406 for the Christmas Day Parkrun in Edinburgh.
Jill Horsburgh had more to celebrate than just xmas as she was running her 50th Parkrun in total and finished in 1st place in the VW50-54 category covering the 5k course along the Granton waterfront in 24m 36s which also placed her 156th overall and 36th female overall.

The club’s first male and females to complete were Graeme Ackland who was 39th in 21m 11s and Shona Young who crossed the finish line in 22m 49s for 102nd overall and 18th female. Iain Horsburgh and James Ackland came home in 2nd and 3rd places in the JM14 age group.
