Great Edinburgh PB for Alan

Lothian Running Club’s Alan Moffat recorded a new PB running in the Morrisons Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday.
Launched in 2005, the event now sees over 5000 people take part in the 10 mile run around Scotland’s capital city.
The route takes runners right through the heart of Edinburgh featuring amazing views and world-famous landmarks including Greyfriars Bobby, the Royal Mile, the Scott Monument and Edinburgh Castle.
Alan crossed the finish line in 1 hour 06 minutes 30 seconds, almost 7 minutes quicker than his previous best for the distance set in the Lasswade 10 race in 2013. This placed him 70th overall.
Club members Lindsay Chukira and Brian Morris also took part in the event, Lindsay finished 717th in 1:21.52 with Brian 933rd in 1:24.51.
