PB’s for club trio in London

Four Lothian Running Club members were among the masses who took part in Sunday’s London Marathon. All three Lothian Runners who completed the race recorded new PB’s for the marathon distance. Colin Partridge had an excellent run breaking the 2 hours 45 minutes mark for the first time. His time of 2 hours 43 minutes 14 seconds was over 3 minutes quicker than his previous best 2:46.37 set over the same course in 2013. Colin placed 398th in the overall standings. Club veteran David Mabon bettered his best time for the 26.2 miles by almost 5 minutes, David stopped the clock at 3 hours 26 minutes 43 seconds well inside the time[3:31.23] he recorded in the Edinburgh Marathon back in 2011. Neil Graham who bettered his time from last year by 30 seconds to completed the course in 3 hours 55 minutes 21 seconds. Stephen Malcolm who only 6 days earlier completed the Boston Marathon toed the start line in London but pulled out at the half marathon stage of the race.
