Scott 5th at Euro Mountain Trials
As a break from preparing for the World Orienteering Championships in Moray in early August Lothian Running Clubs Scott Fraser took part in the British Athletics European Mountain Running Championship trials at Glenridding in the Lake District.
On a course that was curtailed below the summit because of gale force winds and horizontal hailstorms Scott fininished in 5th place behind winner and fellow Scot Andrew Douglas, Inverclyde AC.
26 runners completed the course.
