Marathon PB FOR Owen
HULL MARATHON
The club’s Owen Williams recorded a PB running in the Hull Marathon on Sunday.His time of 3 hours 02 minutes 16 seconds was 8 minutes quicker than his previous best of 3:10.01 which he set in the London Marathon last year. Owen finished well up in 29th place of the 790 runners who completed the course. Elsewhere in Hull at the weekend Jo Williams won the female category of the quaintly named Peter Pan parkrun with her time of 19m 11s also placing her 4th overall.
GREAT NORTH RUN
Paul Young and Brian Morris were among the masses in Sunday’s Morrisons Great North Run. Paul finished in 1h 35m03s with Brian crossing the finish line in 1h 59m 07s.
