Edel ‘whizzes’ to new course record.

Edel Mooney raced to a new course record in the midweek Whangie Whizz Hill Race at Edenmill Farm nr Carbeth

Edel covered the 7km course with a climb of 250 metres  in 35 minutes 22 seconds which also placed her 12th overall of the 121 finishers.

The club’s Kenny Mearns also contested the race finishing in 99th place in49m 22s.
