Club duo do well at FVL Presidents select

The final match of the 2017 Forth Valley League was the President’s Select match at Grangemouth on Saturday. The FVL is a competition for young athletes from under-11 to under-15. Lothian Running Club had two runners selected to take part, Elidh Howard and Hannah Steel. The latter contested the 300 metres and 1500 metres events recording personal bests in both. In the 300m Hannah finished 7th in 46m 9s which is 3 seconds quicker than she has previously run for that distance, then ran a massive 20 seconds PB in the 1500 metres finishing 5th in 5m 16.4 seconds.

Eilidh Howard contested the Girls under-13 800 metres finishing in 6th place in 3:04.6.
