Another Games win for Hannah

Lothian Running Club’s Hannah Steel continued her fine season on the Highland Games circuit with a win and a third place at the Blairgowrie Games on Sunday.
Running from a start of 205 metres Hannah raced to victory in the Youth’s 800 metres handicap crossing the finish line in 1m 51.75 seconds ahead of backmarker Craig Angus,Moorfoot Runners[90m] and Emily Antropic,Glenrothes[235m].
Later in the afternoon Hannah[300m] finished in 3rd place in the Youth 1600 metres handicap behind Craig Angus[150m] and Gaspard Lecrivain,Aberdeen AC[165m]. Hannah who currently sits in 3rd place in the season long SHGA points leagues for Youth races above 400 metres has previously recorded wins at the games at Cupar, Alva,St Andrews,Bridge of Allan and Newburgh.
