Over the pond in Canada and the United States Sarah Inglis has already contested two races since the turn of the year. At Saanich, British Columbia she ran the Harrier Pioneer 8k race finishing in 5th place. In conditions that featured cool temperatures, rain and a strong onshore breeze Inglis crossed the finish line in 27 minutes 15 seconds.

Sarah, who topped the Scottish half marathon rankings for 2017, then moved across the border to USA to contest her first race over that distance this year. Running in the Synchrony Arizona Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon at Tempe, Phoenix she finished in 8th place in 81 minutes 18 seconds.
