Hannah just misses out on podium place
Lothian Running Club’s Hannah Steel agonisingly just missed out on a medal competing in the Scottish Athletics Indoor Age Group Championships at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on Sunday
Running in the Girls Under-15 800 metres, Hannah finished second in her heat behind Fife AC’s Anna Dalglish in a time of 2 minutes 28.88 seconds.

She then went on to finish in 4th place in the eight runner final just missing out on a podium place. The Lothian runners time of 2:29.74 was only bettered by the first three Amy Kilpatrick,VP Glasgow 2:19.41,Katie Johnson,Edinburgh AC and Isla Scott,Giffnock North 2:28.60.
Hannah has enjoyed a succesful indoor season and has lowered her 800 metres personal best three times in the past few weeks.
