Category wins for Jo and Yvonne
Jo Williams continued her excellent run of form with victory in the women’s category of the Scottish Veteran Harriers Clydebank 5k, running as a guest, Jo finished in 17m 37s which also placed her 35th overall of the 69 finishers. First Lothian runner home in 12th place was Malcolm Lang who was also third in the M40 age group. Full LRC results were 14 Malcolm Lang 16.34, 35 & 1F Jo Williams 17.37,40 Alan Knowles 18.00, 43 Owen Williams 18.15,50 Ryan Kirkland 18.34,122 & 2M75 Ian Leggett 28.34.
At the midweek Self Transcendence Mile race at the Meadows in Edinburgh Yvonne Crilley was 5th female overall and leading over-50 in 5.44, Andrea Cameron was 47th overall and 9th female in 6:07 with Alec Agnew 67th in
7:13.
