Bronze for Jo at 10km Road Championship.

STIRLING 10K[inc Scottish Ch.]
Lothian Running Club were well represented in both the Great North Run and Stirling 10k at the weekend. The latter also incorporating the Scottish Athletics Championship in which Jo Williams produced an excellent run to claim the bronze medal in the women’s race with her time of 35 minutes 43 seconds only bettered by the winner Fionnuala Ross,Shettleston AC and Steph Pennycook,Fife AC.

In all the Lothian club had 14 runners in the race with the first finisher being Malcolm Lang in 57th place. GREAT NORTH RUN
In the Great North Run seven Lothian runners were among the masses who covered the 13.1 mile course between Newcastle and South Shields their finishing  times were,Will Moffat 1:35.01,Alan Cunningham 1:35.02,Alan Weir 1:57.20,Brian Morris 2:11.17,William Francis 2:14.56,Susan Paterson 2:20.12,Andrew McKenna 2:32.10.
