Good club turn out at 6/4 relays.

Runners from all over the country were in Livingston on Sunday for the annual Scottish Athletics Men’s 6 stage and Women’s 4 stage road relay championships.
With it being on home ground it was no surprise to see the local Lothian Running Club well represented at the event with 5 teams in the men’s race and one in the women’s. In the latter the quartet of Andrea Cameron,Jo Williams, Mhairi Inglis and Christine MacVarish finished in 12th place out of a total of 32 full teams.
The Men’s A team of Craig Pirie, Owen Williams,Alan Knowles,Euan Rennie,Euan McInnes and Colin Partridge finished in 28th place. In the Men’s Over-50 race Stewart Laing, Mick Kennish-Ward, Dougie Hunter and Scott Nelson came home in 6th place.
The overall male and female titles were won by the teams Cambuslang Harriers and Central AC respectively.

10th Lothian [D] Martin Leadbetter 24.33, Alan Weir 43.14, Stig Walsh 23.48, Jim Alexander 45.19.
SENIOR WOMEN-12th Lothian [A] Andrea Cameron 21.46, Jo Williams 34.07, Mhairi Inglis 19.59, Christine MacVarish 39.41. Total time 1:55.59.
