LRC members attend record number of parkruns
Saturday morning saw 43 LRC members take part in a club record 15 different parkruns. The majority lined up for the Livingston run which was won by club member Craig Pirie with a new PB of 20m 51s, Lana Turnbull was 2nd finisher in the female category behind Katie Craig , Livingson AC 20.41. There was also a second place for Mhairi Inglis 20.43 at Strathclyde and a 3rd place for Amber Cunningham in the F10 age group.
At Craigtoun Park, Courtney Moffat was the leading female in the St Andrews parkrun with her time of 20.21 only 2 seconds outside her PB. At Vogrie, David Eades was 3rd overall in 19m 44s, while at Meadowmill Shona Young was 3rd in the F50 age group. The club were also represented in the parkruns at Falkirk, Inverness, Hazlehead, Ruchill, Portobello, Dunfermline, Elgin, Lochore Meadows and Loch Leven.
