Good runs from club trio at Miler Meet

Despite the adverse weather conditions there was good runs from a trio of LRC members at the GAA Miler Meeting at Scotstoun in Glasgow. There was a massive PB for Josh Dack as he led home a big field of mixed male and female runners in one of the 3000 metres races. His time of 9 minutes 14.21 seconds was 11 seconds faster than his previous best of 9:25.27 set at a Livingston Open meeting . Alan Cunningham also ran a mixed 3000 metres race finishing in 3rd place in 10:50.92.
Despite being the youngest in the field in his 800 metres race it didn’t deter Murray Close from recording his fastest ever the time over the distance. He crossed the finish line in 2m 10.71s bettering his 2:12.46 set in the Age Group Championships at Grangemouth last month.
