YET ANOTHER ULTRA TRIUMPH FOR SHONA
Shona Young continues to churn out the miles and reel in the prizes.
On this occasion it was in the Scottish Borders where along with club mate Linda Garratty they ran the 38 miles Jedburgh 3 Peaks Ultra.
Shona once again excelled to finish in 38th place overall, 8th female overall and once again the leading over-50 female, completing the course which had a climb of 2,800 feet in 7 hours 1 minute and 8 seconds.
Linda completed the challenging course in 9 hours 49 minutes 48 seconds to place 207th of the 219 finishers.
