LRC END YEAR WITH CLUTCH OF PRIZES IN THE HILLFOOTS

Lothian Running Club members brought the curtain down on another year of competition by coming away with a clutch of prizes from the Tilli 10k at Tillicoultry.

The club had 28 runners among a big field of 380 starters and picked up prizes in both the male and female age categories.

The race organised by the Pan Handle Racing Club sees the runners traverse a route along the Hillfoots following the Devon Way from Tillicoultry to Dollar and back.

In the female section there was 3rd places for both Andrea Cameron and Andrea Seabrook in the F40 and F45 categories with Elizabeth Rennie runner up in the over-55 age-group.
Also claiming a runner up spot was Kara Moffat in the female junior classification.

There was podium prizes of all three colours in the Men’s section for the LRC members. Ryan Kirkland excelled to be the leading male junior. Brian Lees was second male over -45 finisher with Al Aitken 3rd M40.
The leading overall LRC male and female finishers were Ryan Kirkland in 20th place with Jo Williams 55th overall and 7th female.

The race champions on the day were Jamie Crowe, Central AC and Annabel  Simpson, Fife AC.
