Lothian Running Club was founded in 2000, and is still developing. We have members throughout Scotland, but most are in Edinburgh and West Lothian.
Our members include Scottish and British champions, but we welcome runners of any standard. We strongly believe that running clubs are not just for the elite (although we will let fast people join too).
We have a very active junior section and welcome youngsters aged from 8+. (Our sunday sessions may be able to accomodate younger children, if accompanied). We rely on the parents of young children to assist the coaches.
We cater for all branches of athletics: track & field, road, cross-country, ultra running and hill running. In spite of our name, junior athletes are exposed to jump and throws events as well as running. We also have a number of enthusiastic orienteerers and triathletes amongst our members.

Where/when do you train.
We offer three main training sessions each week at present around Livingston , with an alternative session available at the Meadows in Edinburgh. See Training for more information.
