BORDERS XC SERIES
A trio of club runners made the journey to Galashiels to contest the fifth and penultimate event in the 2009/2010 Borders XC Series.

Alistair Robertson has been a regular attendee at this series and turned in another good performance to finish 21st overall and 2nd Junior completing the course in 32 minutes 32 seconds.

In the Women’s categories Saran Jones got round in 43 minutes dead to place 86th and 3rd FV45 with Kate Kitchen 93rd and 2nd FS in 43:50.

The curtain comes down on the series at Peebles on the 28th Feb.

MASTERS XC CHAMPIONSHIPS
101 veteran athletes from all over the country were in Forres on Sat [5th Feb] for the Scottish Masters Cross Country Championships.

The Lothian club’s sole representative in the race was Ian Leggett in the MV 70 category which he won, completing the 10k course in Grant Park in 45 minutes 40 seconds.
