EDINBURGH HARES & HOUNDS KINGS BUILDINGS 5 MILE ROAD RACE

Only a couple of Lothian Running Club members braved the snowy wintry conditions to contest the Kings Buildings 5 mile Road Race in Edinburgh on Saturday.

The duo Alistair Robertson and Mandy Scott both finished second in their respective categories, Ally finished 16th overall and runner-up in the Junior Under-20 classification in a time of 29 minutes 34 seconds.

Mandy came home in 38 minutes 45 seconds for 54th overall and second Female Vet.
The inclement weather kept the numbers down with only 69 runners turning out.

This was also the first week for a long while the club didn’t have a participant in the Edinburgh Parkrun.
