ORIENTEERING AT DECHMONT LAW

Graeme Ackland is organising a major orienteering competition in Dechmont Law Park on Sunday November 6th. There will be a big choice of courses of different lengths and difficulties, some suitable for beginners. The cost is £7 for adults and £3 for juniors. Enter at Deans High School and choose a course and a start time between 11 and 12.30. Further details from Martin or from the event website: www.ph.ed.ac.uk/~gja/deans.pdf. For the Sunday session that day Martin will give instruction on basic orienteering skills then anyone who wants to try the real thing can go and enter in the High School any time after 10.30, but remember to bring entry money!
