PARKRUN WIN FOR CHLOE

Lothian Running Club’s Chloe Cox claimed victory in the female category at this week’s Edinburgh Parkrun, Chloe completed the 5k course in 18 minutes 49 seconds.

Brian Turner almost made it a club double but had to settle for the runners up spot in the overall classification in 18 minutes 03 seconds.
Brian Reid made his race debut finishing in 34th spot [21.08] while Ian Leggett took the honours in the 70-74 category in 25.47. 279 Completed

Only two club runners contested this week’s Falkirk Parkrun but it saw Paul Young who finished in 15th place set a new course PB stopping the watch at 20 minutes 44 seconds.
Shona Greig was also in action crossing the finish line in 60th place overall and 7th female in [25.09]. 130 Completed.
