Sarah Inglis first club runer home at Musselburgh

In ideal conditions for running Lothian Running Club were well represented in Saturday’s Musselburgh 10k Festival Race.

The club fielded six runners in an event which also incorporated the East of Scotland 10k Championship.
 
Leading home the Lothian contingent in 30th place overall and 7th in the Women’s championship was the club’s female captain Sarah Inglis who covered the mainly flat mixed terrain course which started and finished in the Loretto School Playing Fields in 37 minutes 20 seconds. The club’s first male finisher in 64th place was Scott Nelson in 40 minutes 22 seconds.
