Tomorrow sees the National Cross Country Championships in Falkirk

where we should expect to see some of our own athletes featuring strongly in both the Men and Womens senior races.

For those of us not mixing it up at the head of the field there is still our own Club 2014/15 Cross Country Grand Prix to think about. Current standings with 1 event to go are available here:

Some categories, particularly the Vet Age groups, are still wide open and the result may well come down to tomorrows race. The senior men’s title is sown up, but there are still bragging rights to be won for the minor placings.

In the younger age groups, only the U13 girls category has been contested this year (remember at least 3 races are required for a championship placing), where its been great to see our girls turning out to events all through the year.

In a change from previous years will be presenting the prizes immediately after the races tomorrow rather than waiting until later in the year. There are prizes available in each age category, with the Vet age groups broken down into 40+/50+/60+ groups.
