Ben Nevis/Ayr5k/Race the Prom 10k/Mid Trail Champs
BEN NEVIS HILL RACE
John Malcolm and Christine MacVarish were among 488 runners who completed the Ben Nevis Hill Race at Fort William. John finished 168th in 2h 5m 2s with Christine stopping the clock at 2h 36m 12s. Tosh Brannan who was running the event for the 23rd time finished in 2 hours 38 minutes 02.
RACE THE PROM 10K
In the North Ayrshire Race the Prom 10k Andy McKenna finished in 59m 47s to place 319th with his time 7 minutes quicker than he recorded the previous year.

AYR 5K
Another LRC member to reach a podium place was Alan Knowles who finished in third place in the 5K race at the midweek Ayr Running Festival. Alan’s finishing time was 18 minutes 07 seconds, also reaching a top ten place was Alan Cunningham who finished in seventh place in 19.18.
SCOTTISH 10K MID-TRAIL CHAMPIONSHIP
Robbie Kennedy was the Lothian club’s sole representative in the Scottish 10k mid-trail Championship at Falkland in Fife. Robbie placed 15th of 78 finishers in 36 minutes 55 seconds. The title was won by Kris Jones,Dundee Hawkhill.
