Lothian Running Club were well represented in the Scottish Masters Cross Country Championship at Hawick in the Scottish Borders with runners in all the various categories.

The club women fielded teams in both the 40-50 years and over-50 years age groups, in the latter the trio of Saran Jones, Shona Young and Teresa Lynch finished in 4th place. In the 40-50 category Christine MacVarish, Christine Mulholland and Andrea Seabrook were 5th.
For the record LRC have only once picked up medals at the Masters XC that was in 2003 when the quartet of Colin Meek, Graeme Ackland,Peter Dymoke and Robert Lee claimed bronze with a third place finish.
