Cross Country Results

Here are the club results of this years’ Cross Country season.

If you raced in the East District or National Championships then you could be in for a prize! Points are awarded to competing club athletes in order they finish, one point for the first crossing the line, two points for the second, six points for the sixth etc. The athlete with the least amount of points at the end of the season has performed consistently the best and is awarded with the Club Cross Country title in their age group.

Prizes will be presented to the winners in each category (and second and third) before the training session starts at Craigswood on Friday 4th May

good stuff Kenny. Do I take it that if there is no total recorded then the athlete has not done sufficient races to qualify for a prize? i.e. 3 races required.

  2. Kenny says:

    Yes Jill, that is correct.

The U11’s it is the best 2 results (as they can only compete in the 3 East District League meetings).

All others it is the best 3 results from 5 (or in the case of vets 6).
