Lothian Running Club’s Shona Young was the leading over-50 female in the Mhor Mharathon at Callander at the weekend.The race starts at the McLaren High School and finishes at the Monachyle Mhor Hotel saw Shona complete the course in 3 hours 53 minutes 38 seconds wwhich also placed her 36th overall and 6th female. The leading LRC finisher in 10th place was Sandy Orr who finished in 3h 32m 03s. Paul Young finished 14th overall and 4th over-50 male in 3h 53m 38s.
Completing the Lothian club representation was Alan Weir who crossed the finish line in 4h 44m 36s to place 131st. A total of 237 runners finished with the overall race winner being unattached runner Niall Barlow in 3h 00.43
